Nissan: The Japanese automobile giant
Nissan Motor Corporation Limited or simply Nissan is an automotive products’ manufacturer and seller from Japan. It was established on 26th December 1933 and is currently headquartered in Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa, Japan. On 1st April 2017, Hiro to Saikawa took over as the Chief Executive Officer of the company thereby succeeding Carlos Ghosn.

There are production units for the manufacture of vehicles, lithium ion batteries, engines, motors and other automotive products. Also, the Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation provides financial services to the North American division.
The Nissan Foundation was established as a part of its corporate social responsibility program. It provides financial support to different organizations in the country, which endorse cultural heterogeneity. Nissan promotes communal harmony and awards greater understanding between communities.
